Slow travel Puglia retreat · Trulli d'Amore
The right pace
to breathe again
A masseria with trulli and lamie, exclusive use. Silence. Ancient olive trees. All the time in the world.
A slow travel Puglia retreat isn't a schedule. It's what happens when you remove the clock and let it follow the light, the long hours under the olive trees, the pace of Valle d'Itria. At Trulli d'Amore time is no longer measured: you wake late, you have lunch at four, you drink under the pergola until it gets dark.
The meaning of TIME
It is not a matter
of slowness.
It is a matter of attention.
At Trulli d'Amore, time is not filled. It is left open. Days unfold without hurry, gestures return to their simplest form, silences find room. There is nothing to chase here — and that is precisely why everything arrives.
Slow travel in Valle d'Itria: exclusive trulli, real silence, natural pace
Valle d'Itria has a rare quality: time here still follows the rhythm of light, seasons, and soil. We chose to respect it. Every decision made at Trulli d'Amore — the spaces, the materials, the way we welcome guests — comes from this premise: not imposing a pace, but creating the conditions for each person to find their own.

What living here feels like
The morning has
no schedule
Coffee is made outside, at the stone table, while the light still comes in low between the olive trees. There is nothing to check, nothing waiting for a reply. The world outside keeps moving, but here, for a few days, it is not necessary to keep up with it.
The spaces at Trulli d'Amore were designed for this: generous, airy, with a real kitchen, wood-fired oven, tables large enough to sit around for hours. Inside and outside alternate without a clear boundary. The garden is part of the house, not an accessory.
The experiences we offer — a dinner cooked together, a local wine tasting, a walk through the nearby villages — fit into the rhythm rather than interrupting it. You can choose all of them, some, or none. The stay works either way.

Everything reachable.
Nothing mandatory.
From Trulli d'Amore, every village in Valle d'Itria is within 25 minutes. Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Cisternino, Alberobello. The sea at Monopoli is 15 minutes by car.
But there is no obligation to go out. Some guests stay a week and visit the sea twice. Some stay in the masseria almost entirely. Both approaches work perfectly.
